About SIIMfund

The SIIMfund helps in the development of informatics tools and strategies by innovators and young scholars. In addition, SIIM promotes research, education, and scholarship in imaging informatics through specific awards, prizes, and educational programs.

SIIM programs are made possible by generous contributors within the SIIM imaging informatics community. SIIM appreciates your continued support. Contributions to SIIM, a 501(c)(3) organization, are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. SIIM will provide a tax letter acknowledging your contributions to the SIIMfund.

I am incredibly grateful for The Helen and Paul Chang Foundation New Investigator Travel Award that I received, especially since the travel can be expensive for a college student like me. The grant allowed me to attend the SIIM22 conference in person, which was an honor after the challenges of COVID. Meeting people in person and making connections was invaluable to me, particularly in the industry.

SIIMfund Silent Auction 2023

Thank you for making our inaugural SIIMfund Silent Auction & Happy Hour a tremendous success! The online Silent Auction culminated at the sold-out Happy Hour event during #SIIM23. Bidding competition for the 1st Edition SIIM Dwyer Lecture Bobblehead of Teri Sippel Schmidt, MS, FSIIM sparked excitement among the 200 philanthropists present.

The generous SIIM community raised $15,000 which will provide support to enhance learning opportunities for imaging informaticists and further improve patient care on a global stage. But, we’re not done as our goal is to raise more! The SIIMfund initiative is a year-round effort and will continue to provide meaningful outreach with future donations. It’s never too late to contribute!
