Special thanks to RAVSoft for co-sponsoring the DICOM Bootcamp.

The DICOM Certification Bootcamp is designed for healthcare professionals seeking to elevate their expertise in DICOM standards. This intensive, two-day program equips participants with the skills needed to excel in architecting and implementing DICOM interfaces, troubleshooting connections, and seamlessly integrating DICOM-based systems.

Through hands-on learning and comprehensive guidance, attendees will gain the proficiency required to independently design DICOM interfaces for healthcare software applications. This knowledge empowers them to successfully navigate the intricacies of DICOM protocols, positioning them for career advancement and enabling them to contribute effectively to future development and deployment projects.

Upon completing the course and supplementing their learning with provided resources, such as the DICOM study guide, participants will be fully prepared to complete the PARCA Certified DICOM Integration Professional (CDIP) exam. The course’s rigorous curriculum ensures a high degree of confidence in passing this certification exam, validating their mastery of DICOM standards and protocols.

To assess their competence and readiness, a comprehensive sample exam will be administered at the course’s conclusion. This serves as a final evaluation, affirming participants’ preparedness to embark on their DICOM certification journey.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

  • Develop and implement DICOM interfaces and protocols within software applications, demonstrating proficiency in troubleshooting and ensuring seamless connections between DICOM-based systems.
  • Independently design and architect DICOM interfaces and protocols in healthcare-related software projects, showcasing a deep understanding of the DICOM standard.
  • Achieve DICOM certification by utilizing the provided study materials and successfully passing the on-line proctored DICOM Certification exam, demonstrating a high level of competence in DICOM standards and protocols.

Format/Class Structure

The two-day training will be delivered in-person at in Chennai, India on October 12&13, 2023 from 900-1700 local time. Breaks and lunch will be provided. Exact location of the training TBD.
