Choosing the Right Platform for Your AI Applications - A Vendor Panel Discussion
As hospital based and outpatient imaging departments purchase an increasing number of AI algorithms and radiology and clinical applications continue to proliferate, it is becoming increasingly clear that an AI platform will be the preferred and indeed only practical way to explore, purchase and implement these programs. However, figuring out how to and from whom to buy is another story. Determining which platform approach will work best from an integration, ease of use, security and compliance perspective can be a daunting challenge. Will the predominant provider of these platforms emerge from one or more PACS vendors, speech recognition providers, advanced visualization, or a “vendor neutral” third party? How do the current platforms differentiate themselves in the marketplace and how have they and will they evolve over time?
