2018 Innovation Challenge Winner

Radlearn.ai’s goal is to become accessible to deep learning researchers around the globe and foster impactful research by facilitating larger and higher quality datasets.

“The SIIM Innovation Challenge gave our team the impetus to build a cloud annotation system that has the potential to enhance deep learning research significantly. The valuable feedback from the judges and attendees will help us better shape our future direction.” Akshay Goel, Founder, and CEO of Radlearn.ai.

The SIIM Innovation Challenge provides a $10,000 prize to support innovation, exploration, and development of solutions to help shape the future of imaging informatics.

The Radlearn.ai project was one of eight semi-finalists featured in the Science and Innovation Pavilion throughout the SIIM 2018 Annual Meeting, and Radlearn.ai was selected as one of four finalists who pitched their projects to a panel of judges. Radlearn.ai will use the 10K award to further develop their cloud platform for deep learning.

The Radlearn.ai team will present their progress to the SIIM Board of Directors and the 2018 Innovation Challenge Committee in six months, and report on the project at the SIIM 2019 Annual Meeting, June 26 – June 28, 2019, at the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center, in Denver/Aurora CO.
