Lexmark Healthcare Joins SIIM in Advancing Healthcare Enterprise Image Management

The Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine announces the 2016 SIIM Webinar Series with the support of Lexmark Healthcare.

Leesburg, VA – March 16, 2016 – Medical imaging informatics has huge potential in the healthcare setting, and the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) together with its industry partners and thought leaders are leading the change into the era of enterprise imaging. Some of the growth areas include moving diagnostic imaging into cloud computing, 3D printing, machine/deep learning, VNAs, and the synergistic use of imaging IT standards and web-based APIs.

All these topics will be discussed during the 2016 SIIM Webinar Series —“Enterprise Imaging – Leading Change through Innovation”. SIIM joined forces with corporate member and partner Lexmark Healthcare to support the new webinar series and the goal of leading change, innovation, and advancing strategy for image-enabling the healthcare enterprise.

“Participants in this webinar series will see how we’re changing the way healthcare organizations can manage and access medical images and other content to enable better patient outcomes,” said Reynolds C. Bish, vice president, Lexmark and president, Enterprise Software. “Lexmark healthcare solutions allow physicians and business users to make healthcare delivery more efficient, providing quick access to the information needed to make better informed decisions that can positively impact patient care.”

SIIM monthly live webinars are free and open to the entire imaging informatics community. In addition to participants being able to submit questions to expert speakers during the webinar live Q&A, the webinars also include tweet chats so that those who tweet can contribute to the conversation with #imagingIT before, during, and after each webinar. After the main event, SIIM webinars are archived with access to the on-demand presentations available to SIIM members via the society’s website.

Be part of the changing landscape of medical imaging as it moves toward the image-enabled enterprise by reviewing the topics, speakers, and registering for upcoming SIIM webinars at http://siim.org/webinars.
