HIMSS-SIIM Press Release Highlights Enterprise Imaging Workgroup White Papers

The HIMSS-SIIM Enterprise Imaging Workgroup has completed collaboration on five white papers that focus on defining enterprise imaging and best industry practices. This diverse group of contributors has created a well-rounded set of papers representing multiple perspectives in the areas of enterprise imaging, IT and healthcare. Topics include: foundations, governance, image exchange, pre-post procedure workflow, and the current state and future of enterprise image viewing.

The first two white papers, A Foundation for Enterprise Imaging, and Enterprise Imaging Governance, are now available, open access, in the Journal of Digital Imaging (JDI). The next three papers will be published in JDI online, approximately every two weeks. All five will be published in the October 2016 print issue of the JDI.

To receive credit, registrants must view the entire webinar and then complete the post-webinar survey. Webinar credits will only be awarded one time per webinar view, regardless of if the learner watches the content live or on-demand.
