Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging

Medical imaging AI has largely answered the "does it work" question. What's left are the harder ones: does it pay for itself, does it change who does the work and how the next generation gets trained to do it, what does it cost to power at scale, and who is actually setting direction for where it goes.  

This closing keynote will cover both what is working in practice and where the field is still falling short, then will widen the frame to the forces shaping AI across healthcare more broadly. That includes return on investment and the economics of deployment, workforce effects ranging from deskilling to never skilling a generation of clinicians, the environmental footprint of AI infrastructure, and the need for clinical leaders to step into policy and advocacy roles.  

Attendees should leave with a clear sense of where imaging AI actually stands today, and what it will take beyond better algorithms to make the gains stick.
