Learning Objectives 

By the end of this course, students will be able to: 

  • Identify and select the appropriate DICOM services required to achieve specific tasks, based on the functionality needed. 
  • Analyze protocol commands used in DICOM services by examining log files, in order to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. 
  • Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and resolve common errors that may occur when importing images from electronic media, such as CDs. 
  • Conduct a comprehensive gap analysis of conformance statements to identify potential interoperability issues and propose solutions. 
  • Evaluate and select the appropriate tools for verification and validation of DICOM services, ensuring compliance with interoperability standards.
