Informatics for Education

The team are joined by Drs. Nabile Safdar and Omer Awan to talk about the role of informatics solutions in patient and trainee education. This is a recap of the guest session from SIIM 2022.

Dr. Safdar is the Vice Chair of Imaging Informatics at Emory University School of Medicine, Associate CMIO for Emory Healthcare and is the Fellowship Director for their Imaging Informatics Fellowship. Dr. Awan is a Professor of Musculoskeletal Radiology and Associate Vice Chair of Education at University of Maryland Medical Center. He is also the administrator for the department-wide teaching file and is the faculty advisor for the radiology global health elective.
