Patient identity in the healthcare enterprise setting remains a complex enigma. With so many systems, such as PACS, VNA, EMRs, and billing systems, combined with workflows like foreign exam management, importing CDs, and enterprise imaging, imaging informaticists have their work cut out for them.

Take part in in this interactive webinar, where participants will be break into groups. They will work together to map a complex patient identity scenario. Identity interoperability experts will be on hand to assist the groups throughout the exercise and help to foster learnings in each scenario.

Objectives:

  • Identify the challenges faced when connecting clinical systems together with different patient identity domains.
  • Communicate complex inter-system patient identity issues with colleagues in a team setting.
  • Evaluate patient identity scenarios and solutions that arise in typical and atypical enterprise imaging department settings.
