SIIMfund Supports Trainee Travel Scholarships
SIIMfund offered new travel scholarships this year – five Hackathon participant scholarships and two NIIC alumni scholarships to SIIM25. Each scholarship is worth $1,000.
These opportunities were open to SIIM Members in Training (SMIT), with the goal of providing them access to critical education, hands-on learning experiences, and invaluable networking within the imaging informatics community.
SIIMfund Global Ambassador Program In Action
SIIMfund supports Global Ambassadors by partnering with RAD-AID to improve public health and patient care in low resource regions. RAD-AID supports a powerful mission of bringing radiology to underserved communities around the world.

I am incredibly grateful for The Helen and Paul Chang Foundation New Investigator Travel Award that I received, especially since the travel can be expensive for a college student like me. The grant allowed me to attend the SIIM22 conference in person, which was an honor after the challenges of COVID. Meeting people in person and making connections was invaluable to me, particularly in the industry.
