The course delves into specific modalities and their characteristics, including X-ray, ultrasound, MRI, CT, and Nuclear Medicine (PET and SPECT). It also covers orientation and medical terms, such as body planes, anatomical and positional terms, views, hanging protocols, and medial pre and suffixes.

  • Describe the image acquisition chain for X-ray images, including the steps involved in radiation generation, protection measures, and quality assurance and quality control activities.
