The PACS Certification (CPSA) Complete Package is an all-encompassing and dynamic self-study program designed to prepare individuals comprehensively for the challenges posed by the PARCA Certified PACS Association (CPSA) exam. This complete package amalgamates the content from the PACS Certification (CPAS) IT Package and PACS Certification (CPAS) Clinical Package, while also introducing additional courses such as Introduction to Medical Digital Imaging, Introduction to PACS, PACS Workflow, and Health Imaging and IT Standards. This comprehensive curriculum provides a holistic understanding of healthcare technology, ensuring participants are well-equipped to navigate the multifaceted landscape of PACS-related tasks and responsibilities.

By the end of this course, students will be able to: 

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Healthcare IT Fundamentals and Healthcare IT Infrastructure, showcasing the ability to apply principles to real-world scenarios. 
  • Analyze and implement effective Healthcare IT Infrastructure solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimization within healthcare settings. 
  • Evaluate clinical anatomy and systems, medical imaging technology, and workflow processes to enhance interdisciplinary collaboration and contribute to comprehensive healthcare solutions. 
  • Apply the principles outlined in the PACS System Associate (AS) Study Guide, Clinical Component – Electronic Version, to foster a seamless integration of clinical knowledge with healthcare IT practices. 
  • Navigate and utilize PACS systems in clinical settings, demonstrating practical skills that enhance communication between healthcare professionals. 
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of medical digital imaging, introduction to PACS, PACS workflow, and health imaging and IT standards.
