About the AI Industry Liaison Subcommittee

The AI Industry Liaison subcommittee is a crucial part of the SIIM AI Committee charged with accomplishing Strategic Goal 2: Advancing Translational/Reproducible Research and promoting standards. SIIM strives to be the leading source for imaging informatics knowledge, bringing together industry and academic leaders to accelerate the application of research from practice to application.

Goals

  • Act as liaison between SIIM research/academic/clinical perspectives and commercial ones.
  • Help guide/prioritize AI Committee objectives from that viewpoint.
  • Recruit industry leaders to lead sessions at SIIM meetings.
  • Represent SIIM at other relevant society meetings.
  • Look for opportunities for industry sponsors of SIIM projects.
