I hold the position of Senior Clinical Imaging Specialist at the Ontario Clinical Imaging Network. I am a SIIM Training Instructor and serve as the principal consultant at Clinical Imaging Consulting.

What do you love most about imaging informatics?

Imaging informatics prominently stands at the forefront of technological innovation, a sector where developments are not only rapid but also deeply impactful on healthcare practices. This evolution, occurring in real time, plays a crucial role in transforming patient care delivery. In this dynamic field, the expertise of dedicated imaging informatics professionals can markedly accelerate the progress of technological advancements. I am both thrilled and honoured to contribute to the advancement of clinical imaging informatics.

If you could choose anyone as a mentor, who would you choose?

My choice should not be overly surprising to many in this industry: Herman Oosterwijk. I had the pleasure of meeting Herman and briefly working with him. The breadth and depth of knowledge that Herman possesses are genuinely astounding.

How do you define success?

For me, success means having the capacity to innovate, bringing into existence something previously nonexistent, and recognizing the necessity of this change.
