In this installment of the open-source webinar series, we’ll cover two popular open-source projects: MONAI and OHIF Viewer. We’ll cover each of these individually, then we’ll cover the integration of both together.

MONAI a set of open-source, freely available collaborative frameworks built for accelerating research and clinical collaboration in Medical Imaging. The goal is to accelerate the pace of innovation and clinical translation by building a robust software framework that benefits nearly every level of medical imaging, deep learning research, and deployment.

OHIF Viewer is arguably the de-facto choice for an open-source, web-based imaging viewer nowadays. It supports workflows of multiple specialties with features such as advanced visualization, high performance, image annotation, reusable components and standards compliance.

Objectives

  • Learn about MONAI, its components and uses, and how you can use it
  • Learn about OHIF Viewer, its features and integration capabilities
  • Witness first hand how collaboration between open-source projects like OHIF and MONAI can be more than the sum of its parts
