Smart Enterprise Imaging Monitor Configurations for Imaging Centric Specialties: Rad, Path & Derm

As machine learning and AI-enabled tools increasingly compete for limited visual workspace, the need for standardized monitor configurations has become more urgent. Establishing shared standards can reduce inefficiencies, minimize workstation adjustment time, and support clinicians who regularly rotate across multiple reading environments—particularly in academic settings where practitioners may work in several reading rooms each week. 

This webinar will feature perspectives from three imaging-centric medical specialists who will discuss their systematic approaches to image interpretation, including the integration of clinical history, exam indications, and reporting workflows. Attendees will also explore how monitor real estate has evolved in radiology, the rationale behind different configuration choices, and the impact of Imaging Management Systems, navigation tools, prior reports, and AI-assisted workflows. 

Through visual demonstrations, participants will examine common workstation configurations and learn aggregate findings from a pilot study across academic, industry, and government settings, including typical monitor counts, layouts, and orientation choices.

• Understand and apply the importance of early consensus on workstation configurations for imaging centric clinicians, proposing what we believe is an emerging standard in radiology. 
• Understand the rational and apply ideal visual real-estate optimizes view without having to juggle thumbnails, dictation and EMR window around; have everything displayed with plenty of space. 
• Attendees will have real time input with a QR code to Google Forms with a poll as to potential monitor preference and locations of applications.
