Celebrating 10 years of SIIM Hackathons, this webinar will take a look at what set SIIM hackathons apart, how they’ve evolved and why you should join us in our 11th year. A common misconception is that hackathons are for coders, and that could not be further from the truth. SIIM’s hackathons are designed for everyone in the SIIM community to enjoy learning, collaborating and networking in a friendly, non-competitive environment.

2024’s Hackathon is a hybrid one, meaning that anyone can participate fully remotely. Additionally, this webinar will shed light on Hackathon resources made available to everyone all year round, such as the Hackathon Platform, and the Hackathon Dataset.

Objectives

  • Learn about the SIIM Hackathon, an important facet of SIIM’s educational repertoire, with a promise of learning-by-doing.
  • Shed light on SIIM Hackathon resources available to everyone all year-round
  • Recap accomplishments stemming from 10+ years of SIIM Hackathons, including impact on the open-source medical imaging community.
