AI in Practice: Autonomous Radiology AI and AI-Supported Pathology

Sectra is applying AI across two imaging domains at once, in two different ways. In radiology, the recent Oxipit acquisition brings autonomous AI that safely clears normal chest exams from the worklist, reducing volume pressure without adding risk. In pathology, Sectra’s Amplifier Marketplace now hosts multiple third-party AI partners that support the pathologist’s work and workflow, from case preparation to image visualization. 

This session pairs both stories side by side. Attendees will see a live demo of autonomous chest AI in action, hear how Sectra evaluates and validates AI models before deployment, and see how AI supports pathologists today and where that work is headed. Whether your focus is radiology or pathology, you’ll leave with a practical view of what AI looks like in each domain and how the two differ.
