As many reporting platforms approach end of life, radiology departments are re-evaluating not only their reporting tools but also the complexity of their overall environment. What if reporting wasn’t another system to manage, integrate, and maintain—but a seamless part of your existing workflow? In this session, we’ll explore how an integrated approach can simplify operations, reduce fragmentation, and create a more connected reading experience.

Through real-world examples and a live demonstration, we’ll look at how reporting alongside imaging can reduce context switching, how AI can support impressions and quality checks, and how structured and ambient reporting can streamline documentation. We’ll also discuss what a transition from standalone systems may involve—and how some organizations are using this moment to simplify their technology stack and plan their next step with confidence.

Objectives

  • Discuss how integrating reporting within PACS can simplify workflows and reduce system complexity
  • Explore how workflow orchestration and AI can support more efficient, consistent reporting practices
  • Identify key considerations when transitioning from standalone reporting systems to a more integrated approach
