Enterprise imaging enables the capture and distribution of images from every medical specialty. Because of the very personal nature of medicine, some of these images are sensitive. Unfortunately, current imaging technology does not allow health care enterprises to adequately protect patients and providers. During this webinar, some of the current challenges related to sensitive images will be described and potential solutions identified.

Objectives

After this webinar, attendees will be able to:

  • Define sensitive images
  • Provide examples of three different types of sensitive images
  • Identify challenges related to sensitive images

Keywords:

Enterprise imaging; medical photography; vendor neutral archive; Image System Management; imaging informatics.
