Sometimes it is hard to know where to get started, especially when you are constrained by financial resources. SIIM’s Hackathon Committee has got your back! In this webinar, we show you how to construct a pipeline to facilitate research projects using free, open-source tools.

This webinar is the first in a series, focusing on the anonymization process and storage of DICOM imaging datasets. For anonymization, we’ll cover two popular options: Clinical Trials Processor (CTP) and DICOM Cleaner. For DICOM storage, we’ll explore two popular DICOM server implementations: DCM4CHEE and Orthanc.

  • Explore the building blocks for research projects in medical imaging powered by free, open-source software
  • Describe two popular options for DICOM object de-identification and anonymization
  • Describe two popular options for DICOM server implementations

CE Credit

SIIM has approved this activity for 1.0 hours of SIIM IIP Credits towards certification and re-certification by the American Board of Imaging Informatics (ABII).
