Several use cases, including particularly PACS migration or consolidation, require an inventory of the contents of the PACS/VNA. DICOM recently adopted Supplement 223, a standard for an application-independent inventory in a format not tied to the proprietary PACS database. This webinar will address the process and issues with using this new capability, which includes several options.

Objectives

  • Identify use cases requiring a PACS/VNA inventory
  • Understand how DICOM Inventories facilitate PACS migrations and other use cases
  • Evaluate options for production of DICOM inventories
